Hi! My name is Maddie Miriani and I want to welcome you to my blog, Young, Whole, and Hungry!
I created this blog as a way to share my passion for food, as well as to inspire people to maintain a happy, healthy lifestyle. Though I may not be a health expert (working on it) I wanted to share my thoughts and knowledge about whole eating and living.
Although I wish I could spend all my days blogging about eating wholesome and being happy, I currently work fulltime as a Technical Writer in the ever-changing health insurance industry. While this may not be a forever career, it’s definitely sending me in the right direction. When Im not at work, I enjoy trying new recipes, spending time with my boyfriend and my puppy, shopping at Target and Home Goods, and occasionally Netflix binging Grey’s Anatomy.
My other-half, Justin, supports me in all of my endeavors–including Netflix binges–and challenges me to be more creative and to do things that scare me, like writing a blog. He also helps me raise our beautiful Corgi mix, Ava. Together, we make a great team! We help each other stay on track with our goals and aspirations. I love him and I love us! Though I must mention the other love of my life…
Food! I love food. I am super passionate about all things food. I love to cook it, smell it, drool over it, and talk about it. I want to harness my passion for food and put it to good use. My goal is to become a certified nutrition consultant and one day, I hope to be a beacon to all those who wish to make positive changes in their life. I want to spread the good word that eating wholesome and healthily can be flavorful, fulfilling, and fun.
I want to be a voice to all busy professionals who struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I want to show you that it can be easy to be successful in your career as well as in your health. I hope that you will find inspiration to keep you on track to a healthy, and more importantly, happy life.
